The Building Plan Check Section is responsible for reviewing building plans for compliance with the County building ordinances and applicable State building regulations. The Section issues building permits as well as ancillary permits such as plumbing, mechanical, and electrical.
The Grading Plan Check Section reviews grading plans, soil engineering and geology reports, hydrology and hydraulics for conformance to the Grading Code and Manual submitted for the proposed grading projects located within the unincorporated portions of Orange County.
